Guest Jankov Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) Its not originaly made for the Pulse but still it works. I've tried it and it worked. Found it on Samdroid http://forum.samdroid.net/f28/howto-flash-...owser-too-1688/ I couldn't flash the zip. Copy the files manually and paste it in system... you'll see where to paste the from the zip. After copying the files to system, reboot, install the apk, then again reboot. That worked for me. http://www14.zippyshare.com/v/19741795/file.html ok Pictures: Edited August 19, 2010 by Jankov

Guest rikkiej Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 hehe note the warning sign HAVE LOTS OF FREE RAM, OTHERWISE BROWSER CRASHES! and thats a warning for a spica, so be warn!! :D
Guest Jankov Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 It didn't crash on my pulse yet. Watched this too http://www.feanor.net/z0r/shock/superZOOM.swf and no crash. But on my Pulse 1 second of video ou youtube = 3 seconds, maybe because of my network or maybe because of low memory.
Guest D-D- Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Well we needed this flashlite for the flashlite menus. There are lots of webs that use flash menus as navigation. For youtube videos and other videos, it's still recomended to use skyfire. And yes, no crashes here eather and while browsing had ebuddy turned on (didn't dissconect me) and was sending and recieving sms all the time (+ the launcher wasn't kicked out of the memory).
Guest Stevos Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Wow, souds great, I'll have to check it out. I hope it wasn't responsible for what happened to your screen though - I've heard of phone crashes, but that looks severe :D
Guest Krinyo Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) Little slow, but working like a charm! Tried on hungarian site Idokep, which is a big leap forward for me... Thanx for the tip! PS: zip flashed under Clockwork Recovery, installed the .apk, then reboot again. No problem at all. Edited August 19, 2010 by Krinyo

Guest flip360 Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 (edited) the flashupdate.zip gives error on flashing through recovery because its not signed, once signed it updates with no problem :D and a question: since i see your screen is broken, i must ask, is it glass or plastic? :D Edited August 19, 2010 by flip360

Flashed the ZIP no problem. Tried to install the APK, no luck, just an unistall option that when pressed gives a "Uninstallation NON succesful" (or something like that)

Guest Pakatus Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 Root manager is an APP? Yes it is...but as the name states...you need root to use it.
