Guest ido2 Posted August 19, 2010 Report Posted August 19, 2010 I'm kinda missing the ability to record calls, is it possible on this device ?
Guest dennerjw Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 Why the heck would you even want to? :D
Guest mgroover Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 I have used it alot of times to record some of my educational sessions (via X-Lite IP Phone on PC) down for adding to a slide deck for those that didn't make it. I'm missing something like this as well. This has been available on WinMo phones and SE phones for a long long time. @HustlinDaily: In Sweden it's perfectly legal to record phone conversations as long as one of the parties in the call are aware of it (i.e. you know and that's enough). I know it's illegal in some countries but I honestly don't see any point in why it should be (as recording something on a concieled dictaphone in real life isn't). If you are a nice person you inform everyone you are recording the call though.. @dennerjw: Except the reason I gave above you might be in the business of selling things via phone. If you record the agreement in a certain format (at least in .se / EU) it is a legally binding oral agreement. Or you just want to record something!

Guest Waspinator Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Is that even legal? How could recording a conversation be illegal? Is everything a crime in America now?
Guest HustlinDaily Posted August 21, 2010 Report Posted August 21, 2010 Just looked it up. Apparently in 11 states, both parties must know that the call is being recorded.
