Gold Card Query

In brief..

Can a goldcard be recreated, I still have the .ing file on pc.

I followed instructions to debrand my o2 desire (here more detail = http://android.modaco.com/content/htc-desi...om-help-needed/ )

Seems my goldcard may be corrupt, when in my phone wont recognise, even when clicking mount in settings,

just says safe to remove.

Can I use the .img file on pc to recreate the goldcard, can i use a differnt mem card?

What is the CID number? Identifiying number to the phone or mem card?

Just unsure whats going on with mine..

I can flash with RUU's, but not OTA updates with the card!?
