Possible solution for the text problem

Now after getting my phone back from T-mobile no text problem, I have received texts whilst browsing the web on Facebook even whilst refreshing on Facebook texts have come through. This was just simply not happening before even if I had just installed a new ROM fresh.

I can't be 100% sure I have the same motherboard after getting it back from repair however they have not said that they have replaced it only that that have done a "software upgrade"

My phone came back with 1.5 on but pre december update..

Perhaps you should Time Machine your phones back to that then use the Official december and official 2.1 like I did and there seems to be no issues.

Since been on 2.1 on this

2 days now my phone hasn't crashed once! not once I promise you no FC nothing, its been a little slow at times granted but not crashed yet!

Also, if you are using handcent use the pop up messages because even if your phone doesn't play a notification this seems to pop up anyway and light the phone up.

Hope this can help some of you having the same problems as me..

im running tmob uk 2.1 with flb mod (the one older than the most recent) cos i cba to update it lol reinputting settings is a nightmare as well as reinstalling apps, anyway i recieve every text/phonecall im supposed to...

Yep that's what I did on my phone. I 'thought' I was getting the no SMS issue myself but it turns out that I'm not Mr Popular at the moment (women... meh).

Managed to get the text problem today whilst reading an article on cheryl cole changing her name back lots of pictures so I suppose that's what did it. The thing is the phone is working perfectly apart from this. I will give T-mobile another chance with their next release of 2.1 as the people i care about know about my phone so not a massive problem now but if they don't fix it then I will be asking for a new phone free of charge or my full money back.

I take it that your combined knowledge has uncovered the secret that somehow, women stop our phone from receiving texts, so they can moan at us?
