Guest Wee Thomas Posted August 20, 2010 Report Posted August 20, 2010 So, Today I installed the tweetdeck beta for Android on my Dell Streak and it is amazing. The Desktop version is even nicer. I currently have an app for Foursquare, Facebook, and two for Twitter (the official twitter for it's widget, twidroid for actually doing anything). And Tweetdeck is one app that can totally replace all of those. I have a . . .social homescreen. It has my twitter and facebook widgets, along with shortcuts to my foursquare, fring, and email apps. But I would love the ability to either turn one of my homescreens into just a full fledged app page or by swiping to that homescreen, I activate the app - specifically tweetdeck. Since tweetdeck can do notifications as well and I'll find out if it can update my foursquare. . .I'm starting to think what's the point of having the other widgets and apps, especially when I'm really liking the tweetdeck UI.
