Updating rooted HTC Desire to 2.2

Hey,

I rooted my phone according to the guide posted here, it was just fine.

Now I want to upgrade to 2.2 but I am not sure what is the right thing to do? Could somebody give me an advice which guide to read and where can I find it?

Don't use HTC provided release sanded to your phone .

Download 2.2 release from the kitchen (R8 for example)and copy it to SDcard

Use ROM Manager from the Market to install.
