Last week on morning i sent my phone flying in the air (accidently) and broke my the phones screen.

after mourning for few days, last Saturday i went to acer mobile's authorized service center (New Delhi,India)

and the service center asked me 6400 Indian Rupees ( $138 USD ) for the screen replacement to which i agreed.

when i asked to justify the price , he said that being authorized service center we dont go to component level repair and will replace the entire front panel.

i waited for couple of hour at service center and when i got my phone back ... surprise surprise the button symbols did not look anything like what i had before (i later googled and found the panel was of S200 ) .

thou everything seems working , as soon as i got the phone back at service center i told the service center guy that i want front panel that looks like what i had to which he was ready to comply and said he will have it in stock in a week and after which he will give me a call so i can get the original front panel.

After reaching back home i realized that left most button which used to be home on my liquid front panel was not working and everything seems to be working.

hey, am in delhi too. A couple of months back, i dropped my liquid from a height of more than a meter on hard concrete floor head first, but everything's still fine... guess i was lucky! BTW, do you have a bigger screen now?? (as neo touch has a screen of 3.8 inches)
