just re-flash official 2.1 rom. place the "dload" folder to root on SD card, with UPDATA.APP file inside. POWER + RED (End Call) + VOLUME UP key combo and should be fine.

if it fails remove battery and try again.

here is 2.1 UK rom LINK

The only known way to brick the Pulse is to remove the battery at a vital stage using the updater.

Any other brick can be recovered by the method above

Has someone done that before?

My dead Pulse crashed a few times in the middle of the flasging process, so I had to take out the battery. At first I thought I killed it - the screen went crazy, displaing weird colours in the upper half of the screen. I couldn't get it booting. The only way to switch it off gain was to pull out the battery. But: I could still access the update mode, so I just flashed the same update again and again until it worked.

One thing to say: don't be afraid of that your Pulse will blow itself up; my Pulse was already dead before that's why it crashed during the update.

Seeing this I don't even know if its possible to software - brick the Pulse. This seems to be impossible to achieve.

Best regards,

BB

A user (Can't remember which.. Do a search if you really want to know ) removed the battery during the update process and couldn't get the update screen to reappear. (Or so he said)
