Guest -Wii- Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 I have today ordered the HTC Desire on £30 p/m for 2 years. I really did struggle to justify any other decision. I was currently paying £20 a month for a phone that didn't work What's another £10 ey? Some people say you don't want to be tied into a 2 year contract but there is nothing stopping me selling the phone anyway and the contract itself at 600 minutes and unlimited everything else is easily enough for me. I had a lot of fun with the pulse but I am trading in my Nissan Sunny and and the 911 is in the post. I may check back from time to time to see if I can use my phone as a toy but until then bye bye!

Ah well dawg, it's inevitable. People will find a better deal (or get sick of the Pulse) and leave us. I hope you enjoy the Desire, and I hope to see your postal order 911 in pictures, on this very thread. Im in the same boat with the HTC DESIRE thing I orderd mine last week they said there's a waiting list of ten days or more cause of high demand but im still keeping my pulse for now so im not leaving even when my Desire turns up it will be good by G1 :( Your not leaving, get outta here! ;) Everyone is getting Desires. I'll probably get a Spica. Although, by Christmas (when I'll have the money for one) I'll have enough money for something else. I hope. :D

Guest Daz555 Posted August 23, 2010 Report Posted August 23, 2010 (edited) Desire is a great phone - even my wife has been impressed with Android so she has ordered one as an upgrade to her T-Mobile current contract plus negotiating a discount on her monthly cost. I'll be a little jealous I think when it arrives! Edited August 23, 2010 by Daz555

Guest MuhaJR Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Yeah. Get Desire. I would like one too. But I'll never get rid of my Pulse. It is perfect customize phone - FLB MOD, J-MOD, Stock ROM, own cooked ROM, ADB knowledge, ROM modifications and everything else that made me love Android... Yep, Desire is real desire - but my Pulse will always be my number one (Android, ofc)...

I really beg to be allowed to make an official off-topic thread, it'd clean these threads up and give me what I want, a thread that won't get closed epic post count bumping a place to be off-topic without the thread being closed by some unknown mod... Please? Yeah. Get Desire. I would like one too. But I'll never get rid of my Pulse. We can't reflash radios so no bricking. Anything I know about Android I have learned in the eight months I've had the Pulse.
