Guest Paul Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Welcome to 'Paul's App of the Day', where I pick one of my favourite apps as featured app of the day! Today's app is... Engadget What they sayEngadget is the definitive source for news on gadgets and technology. The site covers the world of tech from the latest smartphone news, to reviews and hands-on looks at laptops, HDTVs, gaming, and more. With features like commenting, podcasts, and video What we say A fine example of how a website can make it's content available on a mobile platform. The execution of the app is excellent, I particularly like the way you can read comments to posts from within the app. Permissions ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE / INTERNET Download View at AppBrain Direct Market Link (for on device)View on Android Market QRcode To use, install 'Barcode Scanner' from the Android Market. Guest Rocky7 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 (edited) Still prefer the engadget rss feed, you can get the apple free feed which its nice especially when they announce the latest products and 110% of the engadget articles become an ode to steve jobs. Guest The Virus 2013 Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Love this app! Really great, will become one of my best friends...;-)
Guest Tid Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 As well executed as this may be, I find it hard to justify an app that effectively duplicates what is already available in my rss reader. And no I'm not interested in being able to read the inane engadget comments on the go. /end silly rant
