Guest miker71 Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 i was finding i didn't have enough time to get my phone out of my pocket and answer it on my current setting, and couldn't find anything in android call settings, so went hunting for a solution. this seems to work, i'm on vodafone and I got a message back instantly saying "registration successful" **61*+mailboxnumber*11*delay# vodafone UK vm is 121 so i used **61*+121*11*30# then pressed dial source http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=500247 30 seconds is the maximum as defined in the GSM specs, so applies to all networks. You can also use the standard GSM code to set delay before voicemail... **61*+mailboxnumber*11*delay# The delay is in 5 second increments, max 30 seconds.
Guest miker71 Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 whoops - don't think i needed the "+" in there http://geckobeach.com/cellular/secrets/gsmcodes.php
Guest jannism Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 That's great, thanks. You're right, doesn't need the + in there. If you want to check the delay beforehand, use *#61# [dial] and it sends back a confirmation with your current settings.
