Guest sinkingfish Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Hi Paul, The en-ie local is still missing and the graphical bug in the vanilla unlock is still present too :'( Other than that I'm sure it's perfect.
Guest nintylinky Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Any chance for a r8 ROM without default MoDaCo additions and A2SD+ or an easy way to remove wavesecure, cant stand that program
Guest Paul Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Hi Paul, The en-ie local is still missing and the graphical bug in the vanilla unlock is still present too :'( Other than that I'm sure it's perfect. I'll make them first on the list for r9 WIP. P

Guest el_boufono Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Hi! I'm new here! I have a few questions about this ROM and the kitchen thing. If i do the kitchen thing (yes i'm willing to pay the 9,99£) and i remove Rosie/sense thing, will i still have the htc dialer and htc contact and all the htc menu (i mean like "parametres" menu and stuff) ?? I usually use Launcher Pro so i don't need the sense launcher or even the vanilla one. I like the htc lock screen, and all the htc's stuff like dialer, contacts, Facebook for HTC sense and so on. I just don't need the launcher and all the widgets. Is it possible to do with your kitchen? Amicalement, Guillaume.
Guest Paul Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 That's exactly what removing Rosie does. You need a Launcher installed tho in order to launch Market and install LauncherPro. P
Guest el_boufono Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Ok, i'll give it a try! You just gained 9,99£ XD
Guest woti17 Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 @fudgeboy why not bash as default shell? you asked afaik - what i've read - a lot of scripts had to be rewritten for bash instead of ash/sh otherswise a symlink in system/busybox sh to bash would do it cheers and paul please could you look into the arrow keys in r9 terminals
Guest dezmo Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Thanks a lot Paul! Perfect! Only 2 things missing for me: - Bluetooth SPP - End call by power button - Working Android contacts app.
Guest Paul Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Ultra Keyboard gives you arrow keys? P

Guest David_P Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Am baking as I type :-) Thanks again Paul, great work indeed!
Guest spammyspam Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 Regarding the kitchen, is there any way of being able to view it as a non-subscriber? Perhaps by disabling the actual cooking ability. Would be great to assess what the options are.
Guest tommo123 Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 besides the requests in the other forum, any chance of adding an option to add the espresso mod? i personally prefer the flat bar look to the curved sense one

Would be great to assess what the options are. Just . Become . A . Member The kitchen has LOTS of options, and besides Paul needs to eat (and buy lots of gadgets), so please, become a member and enjoy the kitchen, or just download a prebaked rom.
Guest David_P Posted August 24, 2010 Report Posted August 24, 2010 (edited) @Paul, Just an FYI for when you consider bake options for r9 WIP, I tried to add my framework for circle battery mod in the kitchen itself as a user added extra but it was ignored so I had to apply that zip via recovery after the rom was on.
