As the streak really does appear to have one chip for the different models, has anyone tried unlocking all the wcdma basebands using the engineering tools?

I'm presuming this would be more useful to those in a tmous area than anyone else, but I'm curious to see if it works.

there's not much point me experimenting with it as we don't get those frequencies here in the UK.

the obvious disclaimer is that don't know if it will kill the streak, cause it to grow leprechauns, decide australians parliamentary elections or whatever...

I clicked all and it didn't make my phone blow up or anything. Of course, I'm also in the UK so it didn't do much good... I'm going back to the states next month and I'll try then (unless I sell the streak before I go). I just hate that cell plans in the states are such a ripoff!
