Guest DanWilson Posted September 18, 2010 Report Posted September 18, 2010 Dan you know in the past and back in the very early days, to stop people who just post to boost their post count, up we stopped Off Topic posts from counting. Want us to do it again? :) Congrats on the 1k (even though you are past it now) I'm not abusing that fact, I just like to post off-topic-y things. Although I couldn't particularly care. But if all off-topic posts were moderated (as in a Mod checks all the posts) I'd have about 200 posts! :) :( Anyone able to help me with getting Ubuntu on the Pulse? I'm using this guide but changed the "startubuntu" script so that it would go to */sd-ext* instead of */system/sd*. But I get # cd /sd-ext # sh ./startubuntu .;:. _=iii|; =::;. .ss -vvIIvv=.--. _dXXo.-^--~^<nvIv| =ZZXX" -<vlvi _|i|,)XX( lIIl: lvIvi ZX: dan . ^^'^:uXXc ;::; -XXXXs. .:::;. -3XXr ......;:::: '' .:;:;:; _aa,. ----- =#XXZc uXu Type EXIT to end session Make sure you do a proper EXIT for a clean umount! chroot: can't execute '/bin/bash': I/O error [/codebox]

Live CD or wubi or some other odd way. Also the pic is so true, although I'm the only person in my house who knows the WiFi code. MUHAHAH Edited September 20, 2010 by JimJam707
Guest DanWilson Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 How did you install it? Live CD or wubi or some other odd way. Erm... Live CD I think... Wait. I didn't bother booting the Ubuntu through the CD, just pressed install. And this time I can delete Ubuntu's partition without GRUB taking a rage and screwing up the whole laptop. Damn that irritated me. So many of these I want to post. Make more posts Jamie!
Guest Rem1x Posted September 20, 2010 Report Posted September 20, 2010 I got linux on Android 1.5. It was fun for a bit, then I noticed it was pointless :) There is a tutorial some where

Although, I never used ME. Only OS X Leopard, 95, 98, 2000, XP, Vista ( ) and 7 on a computer. But Mac System 1-7 and then Mac OS 7-9. Also DOS, Windows 3.1 and other reaaal old stuff. Hell, imagine Windows 3.1 on a quad core PC with 4 GB of RAM. EPIC WIN SAUCE. And I think also something to do with a squirrel. I really can't remember the OS (from about ages ago. It was vey old when I got it in about 2001). Wait. I think that old think is floating about somewhere...
