HEELP! i900 WiFi and Internet Connectivity

Hello,

I've just started using an omnia i900, and am having a few problems, if anyone could help I'd be very grateful:

1- I can't seem to get much wifi signal. That is to say my phone doesn't seem to be able to see the connection I'm currently using at home. Different ROMS have given different results, but none have continuously recognised the presence of my home network. Is there any way to boost the radio, or install an app so I can connect to wifi in my house? (By the way, I read on one of these forums that the omnia uses a different channel, so I've changed that on my router at home)

2- At one point yesterday I was able to surf the internet on my phone using the USB cable through COM 3 (I actually turned off the phone antenna to see if I was really online or just using GPRS). Then I tried another rom and although I have back-tracked, the option for COM3 and my ability to connect to the internet on my phone through usb seems to have disappeared.

Basically I want to surf the web using my phone at home withought using 3G, WAP or GPRS, preferably through wifi, but i'd also like the option of being able to connect via a USB cable or even Bluetooth if possible. It's started to get frustrating as I've been unable to find any relevant info.

3- I've installed a few different roms and firmwares, my favourite so far has been the i900-23673-DXIA5, which seems to be the fastest and prettiest that I've used so far. I've just installed the DZIA5 from the official samsung site using GrandPrix. Any suggestions on roms that may boost signal strength would be much aprreciated.

I'm in the UK on T-mobile "Pay as you go" if that makes any difference. I'm using Windows Vista and my current PDA version is i900DXIA5/DZIA5. My phone version is i900BUHH2. I use i900 Executor and GrandPrix 1.6.4 VISTA to install roms.
