Guest K4M1K4ZI Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Hi All I have a second HTC Desire which does not boot. It goes into recovery and the volume keys do not work for me to navigate in recovery. I have tried rebooting and everything. Is there any way I can restore and get back into the phone? I think it has HBOOT 0.75. Any ideas?
Guest afiorillo Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Mmmmm... Sounds like you have the "volume down" or "back" physical key stuck.
Guest K4M1K4ZI Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 No buttons seem ok. Trackpad doesnt work either. I cant select anything with volume and power buttons.
Guest tetris15 Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 If hboot is still working, you can flash your nandroid backup files from your pc there too... You can find the fastboot executable in the Android SDK / tools folder. fastboot flash boot boot.img fastboot flash system system.img fastboot flash userdata data.img fastboot reboot This will probably not fix the buttons not working in the recovery menu tho... I would try unrevoked3... http://unrevoked.com/recovery/
