Guest andrew2511 Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 (edited) Hi everybody  i want to share my app also with modaco forum users! I created this tool 1 mounth ago only for italian forums but now the version 1.7, that is really stable and complete, is ready for the world! The tool is very elementary, it helps neophytes to install recovery, custom boot.img and other handy functions. All the function are explained here. It's written in italian but google translator will help you. I'm going to translate later in this thread if you need :( Don't worry, no brick! :P Tested on my poor liquid! Download the installer from my server: v1.8 ITA Download | if you want ENG version of 1.8 tell me in the topic New ideas, feedbacks and insults are welcome :D p.s. my friends call me "Master of Batch" ;) p.s2 i did not forgot credits, they're in the app :D Here a screenshot of the app ;) Edited September 3, 2010 by andrew2511

Guest Ramdanih Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Awesome tools.. thx Andrew...
Guest Ramdanih Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Now, I will call you "MASTER OF BATCH"
Guest Charlton22 Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Wow great tool!!!! After installing the 998Mhz boot image I had to reflash the rom.. Why is that? My phone supports 998Mhz perfectly.
Guest Ramdanih Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Request for pinned topic...
Guest mmick Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Some questions which I think can be of interest for lots of people  - The CPU is set to run at that speed only (eg: 998Mhz) or up to 998Mhz? (Can I still limit (for battery reasons) on setCPU 576Mhz or less?) - At what voltage is the CPU set? AFAIK it runs (by default) up to 768Mhz, 1.3v. - Can the CPU be set to 768Mhz (or higher) but using lower voltage like 1.25 or 1.20v? My goal is to try to run faster but cooler/use less energy. I say this because I used to put my old Centrino laptop running faster (1.6 @ 1.8Ghz) at lower voltage (0.2v less!) and battery would last longer.
Guest Peterfdevries Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 Works cool indeed! But... When I try aan OC'ed kernel, my phone gets stuck trying to start up. This happends when I'm able to press my pincode for the simcard. Any one else gots this problem? A question, is there a way to delete those crappy pre-installed Acer programs manualy? Because I like the clock they are delivering and this is also removed with your program. Greetz!
Guest Cretu Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 You should disable WiFi before flashing an OC'ed kernel, or you may have loop reboots, or other problems. After installing the WiFi patch, you can use the phone normally. And about removing the applications manually, yes, you can: use Titanium Backup.
Guest HustlinDaily Posted September 2, 2010 Report Posted September 2, 2010 However, I take no responsibility if damaged your device or your nephew is an alcoholic. LOL!
Guest akira.pwr Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 SUPER-SUPERCOOL TOOL!!!! A big help for super-supernoob like me! THANKS Andrew!
Guest Peterfdevries Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 You should disable WiFi before flashing an OC'ed kernel, or you may have loop reboots, or other problems. After installing the WiFi patch, you can use the phone normally. And about removing the applications manually, yes, you can: use Titanium Backup. The problem at my phone is not that the system gets into a loop. The problem is that my phone stalls, the touchscreen does not function anymore nor does the rest of the phone. About the applications, is there another way to organize those acer applications? By example with an explorer? Grtz
Guest HustlinDaily Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Try a lower clockspeed. Some Liquids overclock better than other. Maybe you got the unlucky one in the batch.
Guest akira.pwr Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I got a reboot when i go in sync options, i have vache boot 880Mhz set at 768, any idea?
Guest Peterfdevries Posted September 5, 2010 Report Posted September 5, 2010 Try a lower clockspeed. Some Liquids overclock better than other. Maybe you got the unlucky one in the batch. Guess I'm one of those unlucky guys. But I'm used to it. Had a PC in the past that couldn't be OC'ed too :P About the applications, is there another way to organize those acer applications? By example with an explorer? Deleting some and don't delete others? Grtz
