Help! Problem with sd card

Hi,

I bought a class 6 sd card yesterday and I cannot get my Desire to boot when I put this card in the phone. I know the card works, I am running pinky rom.

I have formatted the card fat32 but at the moment cannot create a partition because I cannot boot the phone to partition with rom manager and I dont have a card reader,

Anyone know why the phone will not boot when I put this card in?

1. How do you format the card?

2. Do you use a2sd or a2sd+? If yes, that is the reason our phone does not start properly.
