Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 26, 2010 Report Posted August 26, 2010 Go to Settings->Personal->Phone->Services->Voice Mail and Text Messages->Get Settings... and in the Text messages service center enter the proper number (you can go to a store of your service provider and ask).

Thanks for your reply, but actually, my phone have no option like this thing ( I think because it is Korean specific rom ) . Is there other way to set the message service center?
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 (edited) I don't know... Maybe there is a registry key somewhere but I have no idea where it is ;) Oh, I perfomred a search in the registry and found the key: HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Svc\SMS and the string is SCA -> enter the number there  Edited August 27, 2010 by maf107ezk0

Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Do you use a simcard with your phone  What ROM are you using?! Try flashing to an ordinary ROM and then installing your... P.S. SMS is a folder and SCA is the name of the string. You got that, right? ;)

You got that, right? :( Hi, you are so funny ^^ anyway, I've just flashed the phone to the ordinary ROM, and it worked now. Before that I used a cooked rom (WM 6.5) My ordinary rom is 6.1: 211.189.38.83/umsvcbin/SCH-M490/SCH-M490_CI24_pda.bin Now I think I should use the ordinary rom instead of the cooked rom ^^ Many thanks for your help
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 Well, you can always try a different custom ROM. Having the ROM in english isn't that unusable  ;) :(
Guest mrkid Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 Well, you can always try a different custom ROM. Having the ROM in english isn't that unusable  ;) :( Actually, I can't find any English rom for my phone, so I cook it myself based on a custom Korean rom. I've just found that the problem was that when I change the language from Korean --> English, ( 0412 -> 0409) most thing work well, but the SMS application didn't.I can't write any SMS in the default application, means that when I type, it's do not display in the editting area. I follow the solution to porting language here: http://winmo.techparaiso.com/language-port...s-phone-device/ I also try to use others SMS application, I can write SMS with them but can not send ( both in original rom and custom English rom ). Do you have any advice here? Thanks :D
Guest maf107ezk0 Posted August 28, 2010 Report Posted August 28, 2010 So you can send SMS with the custom Korean ROM that you base your own one on? If so, ask a chef as I am not into cooking ROMs
