Guest PowerBBS Posted August 27, 2010 Report Posted August 27, 2010 I'm in the USA. I purchased a Telstra branded HTC Desire A8183. The 8183 supports AT&T 3G. I've since rooted my phone updated to FROYO 2.2 rom and now the config says WCDMA. Of course I know my phone doesn't support that as the 3G and WCDMA is a hardware difference and not a software one. So my question is... if I install the 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 radio rom, will I maintain the use of 3G thru AT&T? I'm just curious as I don't want to loose my internet and calls on the phone obviously. Thanks for any help and or confirmations on the 32.44.00.32U_5.09.05.30_2 having no impact on the USA and AT&T 3G. (The UK versions A8181 don't support US carriers with 3G, most US carriers operate on a different frequency) Thanks PowerBBS

Warmly, Marty
