Says the ROM was qsd8250_surf

Here is more info on that ROM, says its 1.6 :/

http://www.handsetdetection.com/devices/pr...id/qsd8250_surf

EDIT: Just noticed Dell Streak actually does have qsd8250_surf in the right hand info bit. Very cool find  although 37mflops doesnt seem like a lot compared to a lot of the older 2.2 devices :/...

Thats why I was like D; hahaha thinking of the potential since qsd8250_surf is 1.6 and Chinese by handsetdetection's description haha.

Its probably a development build. I wouldn't worry about the figure to much, Linpack varies wildly from run to run. My Desire varys from low 30s to just over 40.

looks like someone built off Codearoura froyo source

And dated 26 08 2010

Kinda slow for the hardware, IIRC.

Which I guess makes sense if it's built cobbled together without kernel source. No offense to whomever managed to do it, not a dig at him at all, and anyone who managed to make it run is a lot better than me, just saying it makes sense that it wouldn't be as efficient as a rom compiled from source.

That's why I posted this in another thread yesterday.

Just saw that someone posted this on the Dell Streak Facebook page. Don't know if it is legit but worth noting.

Pravin Kumar: Finally got the stock froyo dev build to work on my streak. required a ROM burn, but fails to recognize HDMI ....
