I would not expect a "bug-free" 2.1 ROM from Huawei at this point, no matter what they say.

But it's only Chinese version, not for phones sold in other countries.

Is that maybe where T-Mobile are getting their October date for 2.1 from? That gives them a month or two to localise and brand the Huawei release.
