Guest Kritta Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Hey Rebelsim... I sent a (not working) rebel simcard to you over from Australia a month ago to be replaced by the newer version that works. You had written, on this forum, that you would replace the cards if they were sent back to you. And, so far, I've not heard a thing from you. Any chance of an update? It would give your potential customer here some confidence if they could be sure that you weren't ignoring a customer. ;-) - Andrew

I am not sure who is running that business but it's extremely un-reliable and un-professional. I ordered a mini programer, which they claimed was sent the next day but they couldn't provide a tracking number as it was ‘filed away’. After numerous emails, phone calls, and eventually when I have to file a refund from my credit card they managed to ‘find’ the tracking number and the item arrived the next day. Surprise, the date on the stamp is the day after I have filed the credit card recharge.
Guest yosemite-sam Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 here is the site for Consumer Direct they are funded by the office of fair trading so should be contacted to make a complaint. Don't trust rebelsim, I wouldn't.
Guest vinokirk Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I have never seen an unlock service for £75 before, thats rediculous rebelsimcard!
Guest everunman Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 Don't trust rebelsim, I wouldn't. Ive bought twice from them and both delivered within 3-4 days to Australia, my dealings cant be faulted
Guest redbishop Posted September 28, 2010 Report Posted September 28, 2010 I have never seen an unlock service for £75 before, thats rediculous rebelsimcard! LOL! a service price to unlock any mobile phone here in somerset is between £10 to £15, unfortunately they can't do dell streak. who in their proper mind are willing to pay £75 for unlocking code plus the fact that your going to send you dell streak to them. scammers.
Guest Hands0n Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 Don't trust rebelsim, I wouldn't. To add a balancing comment, I would. I have used Rebel SIM Cards in iPhone and now the Dell Streak. All my dealings with them for the cards, programmer and hole punch have been flawless and faithful. They have taken payment and despatched promptly, although their payment system is a bit quaint (to be kind). I think it would be more appropriate to post the reason why you wouldn't use "rebelsim" - assuming this is one and the same Rebel SIM Card company.

I've used Rebelsim 1.2 for my dell streak. and it does work. Their business manner(or lack of) might be an issue but their product work.

By all means do so if you dare, personally I wouldn't trust em even after watching their dodgy you tube vid. As I stated in my reply to the rebelsim post, have they never heard of remote unlocking? No dodgy asians are getting their hands on my phone! Ps being asian myself, I aint being racist so dont even go there! Edited September 29, 2010 by yosemite-sam
Guest numpxp Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I think Rebelsim is from middle-east, residing in UK, no?
Guest yosemite-sam Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I think Rebelsim is from middle-east, residing in UK, no? who knows and personally I don't care. offering a simple imei unlock generator on their site would have been much more appropriate. as long as the price isn't extortionate of course!
Guest numpxp Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 I don't think there is imei unlock generator for dell streak yet.
Guest lbj23numb1 Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 i got both my att dell streaks unlocked.. all i did was call att and tell them i was gonna be leaving out of the country and that i was gonna use a different carrier and they gave me both my unlock codes right then
Guest vinokirk Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 The reason they need the phone is that they seem to read the code directly from the phone. Ill give it too them...theyve got the brains...but theres no need to charge £75 for the service, even if it is the only service of its kind.
Guest numpxp Posted September 29, 2010 Report Posted September 29, 2010 If you have US set and you would like to get unlock code, let me know. I might be able to help.
