Change default action of Home Menu Back and Search buttons

Hi!

I tried to search at this forum, but i did not obtain any result about my question.

I would like to know if it is possible to change the default action of the buttons of my HTC Desire.

I mean the buttons at the bottom of the phone, Home - Menu - Back - Search.

I installed some utilities that change the default action when a button is pressed, so i know that it is possible to change the actions, but i want to control this changes and assign other shortcuts.
