"The SIM card is missing" (AT&T SIM) *RESOLVED*

Done a search - didn't find any relevant returns...

I've tried 2 different AT&T *valid* SIM cards (*valid*= both work fine on my Nokia, and both have money on them) and I get this error on my new i900L. I also received this same message on the i908 I just returned.

Both SIMS are less than 60 days old

Both the i9XXs were brand new (ie - not "used")

Phone(s) are "unlocked" - not asking for PIN, or giving me any network incompatibility errors.

SIM and associated contacts in phone(s) look clean. Adding paper on top of SIM card and placing back cover back on to create more pressure on SIM connection didn't help.

SIM is installed properly based on SIM card "notch" lining up with "notch" in SIM slot in phone

I'm betting this is not an unknown issue - really need help here. (I really like this phone and don't want to have to return it a second time)

***Update*** ***Resolution***

OK - here's the deal. Got a replacement SIM - and all worked perfectly! Told them I was getting intermittent "Smart Chip Registration Failed" (which I suddenly was on one of the SIMS) and they replaced the SIM with no questions or testing. Once they did - Viola!
