Guest Frank_123 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 Have wiped my Desire completely after coming from MoDoCo R5, then baked and flashed R8 which is running perfectly fine now. But when I look at my APN list, only one APN is left there (t-mobile)! That's fine for now, because it is working where I live. But what if I go abroad (what I will do in the near future)? I also have tried to follow the following link provided by rootrider Read http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=743517 about the APN update list and download MassiveAPN-List-signed.zip. Unrevoked will do the rest and your trouble will be gone (as is mine). ...but this deleted also my last remaining APN after all! (...and then had to re-wipe and re-flash again). I have tried to flash the "MassiveAPN-List" several times but it did not give me any APN at all. So: What else can I do to get a list of APNs to my phone which will take me safely through my upcoming trips? Thx.

I had the massive APN list, reset APN to default but nothing happened. Did you find a solution?

I think newer builds have a autodetect apn´s for sim card....so if you switch the card maybe to O2 or vodafone it detect the sim and change the apn with kind regards...Alex

The new versions check the MCC and MNC strings and then list the APNs with that strings. You won't see your APN if you use market enabler or any similar software that changes the sim value.
Guest bcmobile Posted December 6, 2010 Report Posted December 6, 2010 You need to go into the APN config and choose Reset to Default. 1) Settings==> Wireless & Networks==> Mobile Networks==> Access Point Names 2) Press the Menu button, select 'Reset to Default' 3) Voila! APNs restored.
