Guys,

I am new to this stuff, but have done quite a lot of other techy stuff mostly with console, tv boxes etc in the past. And building pc's etc & dual booting etc.

I recently updated my pulse to Orig 2.1 rom and like it but the lack of storage is a real bummer. I understand that you can do a thing called rooting if you have an Sd card.

I have a 4gb card & would like to use that so that I can download loads of apps etc.

Can someone also advise what would happen if I was to buy a bigger sd card, can I just do a straight swap or do I have to do the process again.

I have read something about putting it in root mode via recovery img using fastboot. I can find recovery img but Im not sure what fastboot is. Can someone kindly explain as if for a young child / dummy, so that I can try this.

Your help as always will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
