Guest desmondo1 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 Guys, I am trying to get root rights to my pulse. I am following eckengucker1's guide which seems really straight forward. I have got the fastboot screen on pulse and I am sending the recovery bat then install superboot bat all appear ok on my pc, but nothing happens on the screen. All my drivers are installed ok and Im running version android 2.1 from this site. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Guest rjm2k Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 check this post, easiest way of getting root http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...-a-custom-rom/#
Guest desmondo1 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 check this post, easiest way of getting root http://android.modaco.com/content/t-mobile...-a-custom-rom/# Tried that and it flashed ok. Then did they partition sd card 2gb then went on to wipe rom and usb toggle placed rom 2.1 with apps2sd on it and flashed, messages stated flashed ok. Went to reboot in menu and it reboots t-mobile message first, then android but sticks there. any ideas what I've done wrong. I think its must be something to do with getting it in root, which I have now tried twice via two methods sending bat files and the flash s.u 234 ef signed. None are working
