Camera stopped working after Android 2.2 Update

Hi,

There are a lot of topics around the camera disfunctioning after the Froyo-update, but not one seems to give me a solution for my HTC Desire.

- I was told to remove the Led app, but that's not in my list of apps. I do find an app (in my language) that involves the flashlight, but I can't hit Remove.

- I was told to reset the phone, but that didn't work either

- I was told to reset the camcorder app, but I can't find that in the app's list anymore :s

Sooo, I'm kinda stuck right now...

Does anybody know how to fix this?

I am having similar issue for LG P509 from last 2 weeks. Here are the details.

I had purchased this phone from T-mobile site almost 3 months back.

it is giving me below error while trying to open camera.

default camera app -"failed to start preview", All i get is a blank screen. Also sometimes, it gives error like - Camera has stopped unexpetedly, need to restart.

I have done both a factory and hard reset and the problem is still there.

I have not called LG support, I want to see if there is any solution for this issue.

Can anybody have solution for this?
