Guest desmondo1 Posted August 29, 2010 Report Posted August 29, 2010 I am trying to install apps2sd. I am currently running official t-mobile 2.1 uk rom. I have already tried a few of the guides on the forum but for some reason they do not seem to get me in root mode. In recover mode I tried flashing su-2.3.4 ef. signed which flashed ok I then partition sd card that seemed ok too Then wiped, that also seemed ok Then flashed with r6 2.1 pulse-a2sd+ that went ok too & Rebooted t-mobile popped up, then android but stuck at that. I have now re-flashed back to t-mobile 2.1 to try again. As phone would not boot os. Can anyone help please?

OP Thanks mate did this and it works quite well. Only a minor problem now occasionally get message acore failed to load? Dont know what this means.
Guest OPTICAL BOOM Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Hmm, that could be the launcher failing. If you want you should try one of the custom ROM's either MINE, FLIBBLESAN's or JOHNPORTER's. These have to be flashed through recovery, if you don't know what that means read this GUIDE. These ROM's are a lot more stable than the community ROM and have added features that you can't get with an official update but its up to your own personal tastes on which one you pick. Guest Sh4d0w940 Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Sorry for stealing your thread, if you don't like it just say so and i'll create a new one but my question is the same just on a different rom. Can you install a2sd also on MCR 1.7 afterwards, so that I keep the stuff that is in /data already? Sh4d0w940

Sh4d0w940 Not entirely sure about keeping the /data but follow this GUIDE, you can put a2sd on MCR but im not entirely sure what you have to do since i work only on 2.1  ;)
