Guest cagelin Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 (edited) Hello, I've flashed my B7610 with the Sense UI ROM from daskalos (thread) but it does not have my "Samsung Settings" Screen. I hope anyone knows what I'm talking about since I could not find any screenshots of this on the web . When you go to the start menu, there are normally 2 settings icons. One is the default gray icon, and one has a blue circle inside it (which is the one I need). This configuration panel allows me to change my GPRS authentication settings which I need to connect to the Internet (using "Vodafone Live!" from the Netherlands). I've been searching all day for a manual fix for this, but none of them seemed to work. I used the "AdvancedNetwork" tool, and tried to modify some registery values but none of these things worked. When I ran out of options, I flashed back to a "original" dutch ROM which I found here (or on XDA, don't remember). This ROM did have the settings panel I was looking for and my Internet works perfectly again. But then again, no lite rom and no Sense UI =[ I tried using the Manilla Sense UI from daskalos, but this one appears to be buggy on my phone (e.g. UI crashes when trying to modify weather locations or switching to landscape mode). So, long story short; does anyone know where to get this settings panel or know a WORKING workaround for my problem? Thanks in advance! #edit: Found a screenie of the settings panel I'm looking for: Edited August 30, 2010 by cagelin
Guest Klimto Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 Download the Samsung Settings cab from some of daskalos threads. Can't remember where he posted it, but it has been posted multiple times. Probably if you search this forum for samsung settings you'll find it.
Guest cagelin Posted August 30, 2010 Report Posted August 30, 2010 OMG my hero  I've been searching for this all day... Didn't realize it was so simple =[ Guess thats what you get if you mess with stuff you don't know anything about lol Didn't even realize it was an actual application o.o... Anyways, thanks for the quick response ;)
Guest Kiwi Dave Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Check the collection thread - all kinds of CABs there and you can usually work out any issues that you have: http://www.modaco.com/content/b7610-omnia-...lection-thread/
