Guest pigra Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Acer released yesterday a rom for Acer Liquid e. It seems to be the most recent rom and baseband we can get for our beloved Liquid. What we shall wonder now is what is the compatibility with the old standard Liquid. The setup allows to install it anyway. But is this rom really good for it? It's commonly said that Liquid and Liquid E are very similar. Only 256MB of RAM of difference. My knowledge is poor on Android kernel and linux consideration. But if I refer to Windows, I know that when you add memory, you have to resize the Swap file and check the harddisk available for dumping the memory. Do you know what could be the drawbacks of using a LiquidE rom on Liquid ? Is there any tuning to do?
