Guest TheKing99 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 I was wondering whether I can freely replace the Linux kernel of my phone. This may help a consistent WiFi problem I have. I was thinking about using CyanogenMod kernel.
Guest Golf60 Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 Use the new radio which you can find at xda-developers forum... the wifi should run better with it...

What about my question of replacing the kernel? I know that the CyanogenMod kernel has several WiFi related fixes (bcm4329.ko).
Guest sakura- Posted August 31, 2010 Report Posted August 31, 2010 I too was wondering whether kernel's from different roms were able to replace your current..

Guest xTc is loVe Posted September 1, 2010 Report Posted September 1, 2010 bcm4329.ko is module for a kernel. So it has to be patched for our Kernel and therefore we have to wait for the Kernel Sources.
