Hi All,

I have enabled TouchWiz on my Omnia Pro.

Now i want to disable it - but i don't know how  . I don't see any button to turn it off.

Also i've tried to use this option:

* Open any registry editor, go to path: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Security\Shell\StartInfo\ amd change Value 'HideSettings' to '0' (credits to rodrigofd)

But without success.

Any other ideas ?

Windows 6.5

Thanks & regards

Hi

Have you tried soft reset of the device? If that doesnt work maybe you should hard reset it.

Unless someone more experienced than me can provide you with a more suitable solution.

Good luck

The reg edit is just adding the windows default settings shortcut to the start menu. You can then go there, and go to the option to disable touchwiz.

I had done the same mistake, this is how to solve it.

Goto samsung settings (you cannot access windows settings even if you change hidesettings to 0)

Goto General settings ->Button->assign a program

Select <Start Menu>

Select Done and exit Samsung Settings.

Now hit the button between CALL and DISCONNECT, the semi circle shaped button. This will open up classing Windows Program Menu.

Goto Settings

Goto System

Enter TouchWiz and disable it.
