Pls advice - getting strange info under device information

Hi guys/girls

I bought an LG phone for my mother, and the model number is GT 540 – with Android 1.6 running.

When I go to settings and from there to “about phone” – as you know it gives all the system information.

Under the system information it has

Kernel Version

2.6.29

And to my knowledge, this is how kernel information should appear.

However with my mum’s phone there is an additional line – so it looks like this:

2.6.29

After seen this information, I thought our local store had given us a used phone. So, I called LG customer service, they said get it exchanged. Went there and exchanged it for like for like, guess what, new phone got the same line.

Can anybody clarify what this thing looks like an email address. Does it supposed be there??

The only time I've seen a different kernel version similar looking to that was when I installed a modified ROM on my Nexus One. But that also changed other info in the About Phone section.
