Q How to update using clock mod recovery

Just wondering if you want to update an update.pkg is it possible to do it in clockwork recovery if so do you change the update.pkg to anything or cannot it be done that way thanks

I'm afraid not, you'll have to flash a stock recovery to replace clockwork via fastboot then apply the update.pkg.

Even if you could flash with CW, it would be pointless as the new OTA build will automatically flash the stock recovery on top, like the original droid, this happens every boot (to my understanding)... so you need to install, root, remove the autoflash, then flash CW.
