Another omnia 2 rescue call!!

Hey everyone, there is so much information here, and so I post myself a call for help. I am attempting to flash my omnia 2 which I bought second hand from a person that bought it in Europe. It was working fine, until I attempted to upgrade through the Singapore website, as my phone's model number indicated it was from there. It was working fine when all of a sudden, the laptop and phone froze. I had no choice but to disconnect it, and now all it does is display a phone ! computer logo. I pull the battery out, but nothing else happens. Is there a remedy? I have read in many posts that I have a chance to flash it, and I have tried. I have windows 7 64bit, and have tried octan mini and 2.14. I have tried different csc, mst, and ebo files, and octan does nothing. I downloaded the samsung driver, have the unsigned signature in phone, and still nothing. What am I doing wrong? Any help would be greatly appreacited-I even tried the youtube DIY video.

I had the same issue the other day when I flashed with a faulty lg env 2 usb cable.the flash crashed because the cable had a shortage in it and I ended up with the phone and computer icons. I wrapped the cable around the phone and restarted the flash.no problem
