Have you ever broken the SIM slot in your Acer Liquid ?

Hi,

Mine was broken by a Micro-sim adapter.

The phone is still under warrenty, But I think mostly warrenty does not cover it.

Anyone knows how much for repair by authorized distributor ? (Acer CS in Hong Kong is very inefficient)

Do they replace the whole board or just the SIM slot ?

If they replace the whole PCB, then it should be very costly, then I might consider repairing it in repair shop outside.

Or perhaps replace it by myself if I find the spare part.

Is it easy to find this SIM slot ? I have searched ADVERTISING SPAM, but have found none simular.
