I think he know that cause it's himself post ^^

But it's just a dump of the mtd recovery and we can't downgrade baseband to 00 with this... So all French ppl still stuck @ 2.1 leak with BB 21

Hope we find something to unlock us

Indeed...

I have already installed the recovery.img for BB 00 and launch the update from SDCard with update.pkg on the root (6267) but when I launch the update from my SDCard, I have a black screen for a while...

But nothing is displayed on my screen just the backlight and a black screen.

Do I miss something in the installation process to go back in 1.6 with BB 00 (EU) ?

Thank you very much for your help.

Yes, but I mean in few hours because the last post date is Saturday, so I think that.

Maybe, I am wrong.

Do you have succefully go back on 00 baseband with your Streak and install the 6267 version on ?

If Yes, how do you do ?

Thank you very much for your help.

I found this on xda-developers and am using it myself. I am still on 1.6, but I had installed Koush's recovery ROM without backing up my original one.

It seems to work O.K., but I was not able to install the "Streak_111_6267_00.pkg" with any recovery ROM (tried all stock ROMS that Paul has provided, Koush's and the one posted here. I always get "FOTA version mismatch". I have build 6267.

No big deal for me because my original system is fine, and I have decided to keep it until there is a well-tested update.

I have already tested this file and it doesn't work to go back on 1.6 baseband 00.

But maybe I have missed something.

Geek78, have you try this recovery file ?

no, and I won't try as it seems to don't work ... maybe is repacked dump done after a flash with the custom recovery ....

At least there is no nandroid menu available.

I rather suspect the "Streak_111_6267_00.pkg" image is somehow incompatible with the stock build having the same number.

BTW, is there any way to open up such a ".pkg" file ?

Easy, launch update when you get "FOTA error" message remove quickly your battery. And on your SD card you got Update.pkg.dec open it with winrar and that it :P

Upload my Update.pkg.dec (6267 00)
