Guest Stevos Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 I just got an email from the developer claiming that Angry Birds Lite has been released on the android market as a beta (I registered for updates) I can't see it, so perhaps it's region restricted or something. Does it show up for anybody?

Guest rikkiej Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) http://www.mediafire.com/?j797r19xtm78g1z That apk seems to work. I installed just fine, but I think my pulse is running out of RAM thus closing angry birds Edit: Sorry if i'm doing anything wrong by sharing the apk, but it's a free game so thought it wouldn't matter! Guest Sh4d0w940 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 It's for 2.1 and WVGA screens, that's why it doesn't show up in the market. Sh4d0w940
Guest Simon O Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 I ran it on Froyo (once I edited the apk to prevent it trying to install to SD). Ran very well apart from the game being too big for the screen. I hope they fix it. The game itself runs fine but the menus are too big. A simple fix.

Guest flip360 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 i`ve tried it but ended up with no screen on boot :P
Guest Stevos Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 Review here: http://www.engadget.com/2010/09/03/app-rev...-birds-android/ I hope they get it working on smaller devices.
Guest Ashbeard Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I read that it would only be available for second generation devices. I doubt that the Pulse counts.
Guest Simon O Posted September 4, 2010 Report Posted September 4, 2010 I thought the game ran well on the Froyo test rom. The only issues were with the menu graphics being too big.

Guest defts Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 I use this http://4pda.ru/forum/dl/post/608659/angryb_s.apk optimize for HVGA + more level
Guest whackster Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 The menus are over sized, and the game lags a bit, but its running fine on FLB-MOD. :P
Guest Speckles Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 I've completed all the 15 levels, now I'm waiting for the full version. I don't know how I'm going to get the full version however, as it's not visible in the market (assumingly not compatible) This is going to be one of those apps that you can't purchase even though it works fine :P

Guest Stevos Posted September 13, 2010 Report Posted September 13, 2010 I find both versions just display the loading screen and then exit on FLB 1.4. I assume it's a low memory issue.

Me too, I'm going to try changing the memory management settings in A2SD and see if that helps. Thanks very much for uploading it to a mirror defts.
Guest 1an Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I ran it on Froyo (once I edited the apk to prevent it trying to install to SD). Ran very well apart from the game being too big for the screen. I hope they fix it. The game itself runs fine but the menus are too big. A simple fix. Can you please share the apk or/and explain how to edit the apk? best regards 1an

Guest hungary Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 I can not even install it. How do you force it to install to internal? Removed the SD Card  Or mount it with PC.
Guest 1an Posted September 14, 2010 Report Posted September 14, 2010 Removed the SD Card  Or mount it with PC. Smart! :( But it does not work for me neither. Hope flibblesan can share the solution! :)
Guest MarcusHenrique Posted September 16, 2010 Report Posted September 16, 2010 I'm having the same problem as 1an. Although I have 22mb of Free internal storage, when I force the app to install (SD unmounted) it returns INSUFFICIENT STORAGE. Can someone please point us any solution?
