Guest RichB93 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) Hi everyone. Not terribly impressed with the latest update from O2. (Stupid mobile internet only for market bug, and lagging on screens with fading graphics etc) How would I downgrade to an earlier ROM? Was thinking 6941 as that was good although maybe a later ROM if you've had positive experiences with it. I presume I cannot do it with the built in software flasher? Sorry if it's been asked before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many Thanks, Rich Edited September 3, 2010 by RichB93
Guest vinokirk Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 Im on 6941 and i still get the odd crash and stall etc, more than any other phone ive used, but still less than the other stock+custom roms ive used on the streak.
Guest fards Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 tbh I Would flash pauls custom (using his kitchen) I just flashed one (with bare minimum extra crap) and it flies along.. No issues so far (touch wood etc) it is much much more responsive than any of the betas.. great thing about using that is all your apps etc are left in place. http://android.modaco.com/content/dell-str...online-kitchen/
Guest RichB93 Posted September 3, 2010 Report Posted September 3, 2010 (edited) It'd be nice but I'm not paying £9.99 to fix a problem that shouldn't have been there in the first place. I'd rather revert to an earlier beta : EDIT: It sounds harsh I know, and I appreciate why it costs as it takes time to do stuff like this, but I don't have the cash atm to do it. I unticked most of them.. Just left caculator, maps, the scripts & yobtoob figure I don't use the outlook, and the others annoy me.. I can install the others I rarely use from market (voice search seems to want to duplicate if you upgrade it) when I need them if I do. wonder if some of the issues people are having is to do with the way they d/l it this is more responsive than the betas.. at least for me it is and I got a quadrant score of 816 with it
