Problem with reble sim, Can anyone help please?

Hi all, I've just got a streak and is trying to use it on orange network in UK with rebel sim II. When I insert the Orange with rebel sim, I can't answer calls but can make calls and apparently there is no 3G.

Can anyone tell me what's going on? did they send me one with the wrong firmware?

The cell signal displayed with a R.

You need to upgrade it to 1.2 firmware (sidenote: try resizing you images before you post, with irfanview for example)

I ordered this one from rebel a couple days ago. it suppose to be 1.2. can't believe they still send me a 1.1one. they are going to get a really nasty email.

I don't suppose anyone in derby area has an programmer, do they :P ? I have ordered one but it's going to take a while to arrive. Cannot wait to get the streak online.

Hey

if they reply they sent you the current version, pop your sim into a 3g phone until you see 3g service and try it again in the streak, i had a similar problem and this fixed it

Thank you for you advice, but my sim was in a touch HD before and I have been using 3G data all the time. That might not be the reason. I'll see what rebel say about this.
