No Android Market App

Hi newbie here, i got my LG Optimus GT540 this evening and found out that there's no Android Market preinstalled, after some researching on net i found out that all android phones purchased here in UAE don't have Android Market preinstalled :P

Can anyone help me install the Android Market?

If i change my rom to other versions should i be able to have the Android Market app?

I'd be worth trying another ROM, it's easy enough to install. Some ROMs come with additional bits, but I'm not sure if the Android market is part of it.
