RED question mark on a screen

Once updated the ROM Manager to version 2.5.0.7 i tried to format the SD card from the program. There has been a failure in that format. Since I can not go to Recovery as from the ROM Manager and so using the volume buttons .

When trying , there is a red question mark drawn on a screen above the phone - and immediately reboot.

Sd card can be read by Windows and operating normally.

actual version: r8 MCR (Non A2SD)

Are there any versions - what is wrong?
