Can't Use My Omnia With Windows 7

i recently installed windows 7 on my desktop pc, on which i previously had xp sp3, im in a broadband deadzone, basically meaning i can't get cable, our phone lines are too old to run dsl, and satellite is just too damn expensive for the connection speeds. so i usually just tether my phone when im home, the problem is, the drivers on the vzaccess manager disk apparently won't work with 7, so it keeps telling me i don't have the right drivers (i can't let 7 download them for me, because my desktop has no internet connection). i have also tried bluetooth, with similar problems. any suggestions?? i've been searching for drivers online, without avail

Are you in an area that offers Clear Wire service?

8mbps for the same price as the vz access crap.

Take pc to a place with wired connection (friends house) the kicker is it takes like 15 seconds to get the drivers through 7. I wish I knew what they were. But 7 did it automatically when I got ICS working on my 7 netbook.

good day.

I tried a couple of times, flashing in W7. Wasn't pretty, almost got bricked my i900. So, since I left a "blank" partition to my PC, I installed the "good-old" XPs... and I have no problem.

In fact, it's a matter or 1 min to flash a rom, and 2-3 minutes to flash a phone part.

Generally, either if you want it for flashing or not, it's a clever thing to have at least TWO partitions in your PCs, with different OS.

He is in the states with an i910 on VZW. And he is not flashing.

Re-read post. He just posted his question in the wrong place.

good day.

I know, but it's always better to using XPs for "special use", like flashing and such. Win7 are fantastic, but STILL a new OS.

And, it's nothing bad to own a couple of partitions in your PC; it's very good for security reasons, for your files, your work etc.
