Problems with signal

Hey guys,

I have recently come across a problem with my SGS where I have 3-4 bars of signal but everytime I try to call out it rings once and then it says call ended. I am on a Vodafone contract but i dont know whether I am using the right GSM band for my area or how to configure the android with the right settings.

Any ideas?

I am living in the Dudley area in England.

My phone is currently on firmware version JM1.

i'm having the EXACT same problem

i have full bars, making the call... when dialing... it doesn't 'connect'

soon, i get the 'no' symbol (circle with the slash) and an error saying that my 'radio is off'
