Guest Shauneh Posted September 6, 2010 Report Posted September 6, 2010 I got my Dell Streak working as a webcam at a very poor 1 FPS http://www.placaware.com/ I got it working by following this guide, baring in mine i copied the: usbwebcam.bat gwebcamvideo.dll gwebcamaudio.dll To my own Android SDK install, as it didnt seem to work with the one they provided. It runs fine, I wonder if someone could tweak it for faster output and at 720p. Someone should ask the author for the source, they aren't very complicated apps. Thanks, -- Shauneh

Guest Shauneh Posted September 10, 2010 Report Posted September 10, 2010 U have to download the SDK for android I used the 1.5 SKD copied those 3 files from the download from Placawire. After that u run the batchfile usbwebcam.bat and it should work. If it doesnt try loading cmd in admin mode and then nav to the folder and run the batch file again. If you dont know how to do this, theres no point really doing it, framerate is awful but feel free to try. -- Shauneh
