Guest teunke99 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 Hello, I'm on MCR8 with apps2sd and have partionned my SD (now it's 14.5mb FAT32 en 0.5mb EXT3), but with rootexplorer all I see is a placeholder. Systemmem is getting below 40 mb. Can I: move apps manually and to where exactly? or give somesort of command in terminal emulator to have apps2sd move the apps itself (is what used to work on my Acer Liquid)? thx Danny
Guest teunke99 Posted September 7, 2010 Report Posted September 7, 2010 anyone? (not being impatient :P )

Guest teunke99 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 16mb... so the fat32 is bigger Danny
Guest U-Man Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 16mb... so the fat32 is bigger Danny Sure it's not 16Gb instead of Mb? 16mb with 0.5mb ext would let you install nothing, pretty sure 16mb SDcards don't even exist.

Guest DragosP Posted September 8, 2010 Report Posted September 8, 2010 (edited) Hello, I'm on MCR8 with apps2sd and have partionned my SD (now it's 14.5mb FAT32 en 0.5mb EXT3), but with rootexplorer all I see is a placeholder. Systemmem is getting below 40 mb. Danny It seems a2sd is not work. Please install "Quick System Info" from Market and check "A2SD storage". If the result is zero then the card probably is not partitioned correctly (ext2 partition is not recognized), and have to partitioning with amonra recovery or a linux machine and a card reader. Or, whitout as2d, you can issue: adb shell pm setInstallLocation 2 And your apps will go to sdcard (Froyo implementation) Edited September 8, 2010 by DragosP
