/Data partition (or folder?) problem

Hy

I'm using MCR8 rom and I've noticed that I don't have any apps (the ones you select to be cooked in the rom and are located in the data folder - spare parts, adfree, widgets,...) installed.

I have also noticed that the phone doesn't install apps on my SD card (the card is almost empty and there aren't any apps on it).

How can I fix or make a data partition? I have wiped my card twice now but it doesn't help. Or does anyone know what could be the problem.

Edit: The process I used to flash is flashing the custom rom and then selecting the wipe data option. Could this be erasing my apps?
