Hi,

i just noticed that whatever file is created on my Desire (Photo, Text-file, ...) the filesystem-timestamp that is shown ON THE PC is always GMT ?

On the phone itself it it shown right (using any file-manager like Astro or RootExplorer), but once mounted on the PC the timestamp is GMT ? (so -2 compared to my timezone)

Example:

- just created a file in /sdcard/tmp "test.txt"

- Astro shows correct timestamp (11:40)

- mounting sd-card on PC

- Win-Explorer (and any other File-Manager) shows 9:40 as filesystem-timestamp

(- back on the phone it is still ok)

Can someone confirm or even explain ?

Is this "by design" or a bug ?

Marcus

UPDATE: even terminal on the phone and using "ls -la" shows the correct timestamp - so it seems that once sd-card gets mounted on pc (using the phone) the timestamp is somwhow "shifted" so that GMT-time is shown to the PC.
